FC Samatex resumes training ahead of the 2024/25 season


Samreboi-based FC Samatex have resumed training ahead of the new season.

The Football Club is hoping to defend their title in the local league and also have a great effect in the Champions League as they represent Ghana on the continental stage.

The team resumed training on July 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, they are expected to beef up their squad and also terminate the contracts of some of the players who do not fit into their system.

Meanwhile, the club is yet to decide on the venue for their home matches for the Champions League.

General Manager for the club, Edmund Ackah in an interview with Asempa FM disclosed that they may choose between Accra or Kumasi Sports stadium.

He indicated that the Board of the Club is yet to meet to make a decision but was hopeful that fans in Kumasi and Accra will help them propel on the continental stage.
