Meta expands features for content creators in Ghana to earn money


The Information Minister has announced that Meta, owners of Facebook and other social media applications have expanded its features for content creators in Ghana to earn money.

A statement from the Information Ministry said the Public Policy Manager for Anglophone West Africa for Meta, Sade Dada announced the monetization of its expanded features for Creators in Ghana.

As part of the monetization, creators will also have the option to earn a share of revenue from Facebook’s in-stream ads, thus, when Meta places ads next to their content.

However, Content creators must pass and be compliant with the Meta Partner Monetization Policies and Content Monetization Policies. These policies include deeper restrictions than the community standards on the content itself and the format of the presentation.
