Daniel Evans is a famous British professional tennis player from England.
Dan Evans has been ranked as high as world No. 22 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals, which he achieved on 27 September 2021, and is the current British No. 2 in singles.
Dan Evans began his professional tennis career in 2006. He had a successful junior career, reaching the final of the Junior US Open in 2008.
In 2009, he made his breakthrough on the ATP Tour by reaching the quarterfinals of the Barcelona Open as a qualifier.
Evans continued to climb up the rankings and reached a career-high ranking of No. 41 in March 2017.
However, he faced a setback later that year when he tested positive for cocaine and was suspended from the tour for one year.
After serving his suspension, Evans made a strong comeback in 2018, winning his first ATP title at the Surbiton Trophy and reaching the third round of Wimbledon.
He continued to perform well in 2019, reaching two ATP finals and achieving a career-high ranking of No. 33.
In 2020, Evans had his best season yet, reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open and winning his second ATP title at the Murray River Open.
He also reached a career-high ranking of No. 26.

Who Coaches Dan Evans?
Sebastian Prieto, an Argentinean coach, is now in charge of Evans. Prieto, who had previously coached 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro (ARG), and the pair started working together in 2021.
