You need a mental check if you think I should be investigated for breaching ethics

COP ( RTD) George Alex Mensah is of the view that anyone who wants him to be brought back to the Police service to be tried needs a mental check.

Parliament’s Report on the Leaked Tape planning the removal of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) George Akuffo Dampare said COP ( RTD) George Alex Mensah went against police ethics.

In an interview, Security analyst Adam Bonaa said that the retired Policeman must be brought back to the police force and stripped of all his benefits.

But speaking to Accra-based 3FM, COP ( RTD) George Alex Mensah indicated that anyone who thinks in that direction needs their brains checked.

“Anybody who makes that comment should check his brain. He should be sent to the mental hospital to check his brain. He should check his brain. You think it is easy to be in the Police service and get to the Commissioner of Police,” he said.
