Nigerian international Ahmed Musa has lauded the success of the maiden edition of the Arewa Celebrities Football Match, which took place in Kaduna on Sunday, June 30.

Entertainers gathered at the Ahmed Musa Sports Centre for the event, including music artists, actors, comedians, influencers, and footballers from northern extractions.

Super Eagles captain Musa expressed delight over the turnout of the celebrities and fans who graced the occasion.

An exhibition game was played as the occasion also allowed the player to reunite with old-time friends and colleagues and other top celebrities in the region, Punch reports.

The former CSKA Moscow forward shared photos of the event on his social media handles and thanked all those present.

He wrote:
