Businesses in these areas will close down for Homowo cleanup exercise today


Today is July 2, 2024, and as part of the drive to keep Accra clean ahead of the Homowo festivities, shops and business activities at some places will have to halt from July 2 to August 20.

The cleanup activities have been grouped into six zones to cover the entire region with Zone 1 comprising areas within the AMA and three [3] sister Assemblies.

Today, July 2, the exercise will commence at Sempe, Gbese, Abloa, Asere, and Dogo Beach in Ga Mashie.
