Suspected Ritual Killing Hits Tamale; one arrested

Information reaching MyNewsGh.com indicates that four children who allegedly went missing some days ago have been found dead at Kakpagyili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern region in what is suspected to be a ritual killing.

The house owner has since been arrested and is in police custody for further investigations.

An eyewitness in the Kakpagyili area who narrated the incident to MyNewsGh.com, said when the children went missing, a search was conducted by the area’s youth but to no avail.

According to the eyewitness, the parents brought a soothsayer from Savelugu who performed some rituals and revealed that the children were in the suspect’s house.

The eyewitness said the youth from the area stormed the house and when the suspect sensed danger he called the police who rushed to the house to rescue him and his family.

On June 30, 2024, the police came back to the house with the suspect and searched the house and found the dead bodies of the four missing children in a particular room in the house.

The police conveyed the deceased children with the suspect to the police station.
