“Olu Jacobs is alive, well” — Joke Silva

Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva, the wife of legendary actor Olu Jacobs, has dismissed the rumour of her husband’s death.

According to her, the multiple award-winning actor is much alive and doing just fine.

“My husband is alive and doing just fine,” Silva said on Sunday in reaction to dozens of social media posts announcing her husband’s purported death.

A close source to the family who craved anonymity said: “The AGN President confirmed that he spoke with the wife today and they spoke for over one hour without any mention of such news”

The source added: “Somebody who has lost a husband cannot be that chatty and Gail on phone.”

Also, Betty Irabor, an associate of the family has also dismissed the death claim which went viral on social media platforms on Sunday.

The family also released a proof-of-life video of the veteran Nollywood actor shaving his beards.
