Amuneke set to return to coaching?

According to the report, the former Sporting CP forward has reached an agreement with Heartland, a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side.

The report also indicates that both parties have begun working together, with an official announcement expected soon.

Furthermore, the report mentions that Amuneke has already started discreetly scouting players for the Owerri-based club ahead of the upcoming season.

Heartland sadly suffered relegation to the second division of the Nigerian football pyramid, the Nigeria National League (NNL), after finishing 19th in the 2023/24 league standings.

However, a report from Nigerian football expert, Olawale Quadry, has detailed the hierarchy of the Owerri club is considering buying the slot of the newly promoted club, Beyond Limits Football Academy.

NFF agrees deal with a world-class coach for Super Eagles

Sports Brief in another report stated that the NFF has agreed on a deal with a high-profile coach for the Super Eagles.

The report details that an announcement of the next manager could be well on the horizon.

The Nigerian team is without a permanent manager for the second time in 2024 following Finidi’s surprise departure from his role only 47 days after his appointment.
