GFA, Star Times terminate broadcasting agreement

Ghanaian Sports website Kickgh.com is reporting that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is looking for new broadcast partners for the Ghana Premier League.

According to the Sports website, the current deal with Chinese broadcaster Star Times has been terminated.

The specifics of the contract termination are yet to be made known, but reports indicate that it was mutual.

Star Times won the bid to broadcast the Ghana Premier League, the Women Premier League, and the First Division League in 2020 in a $5.25 million deal.

The FA is said to be accepting bids for new broadcast partners who will give the Ghana Premier League the needed coverage and help market the product being sold.
