Sports presenter advocates for Black Stars Players to be taught how to sing Ghana’s National Anthem

Kumasi-based Sports Presenter, Bright Kankam Boadu has raised a valid argument on the singing of National Anthems by Ghanaian footballers, especially the Black Stars.

He premises his opinion on the fact that while watching the ongoing Euro 2024 and Copa America, players are seen passionately singing their national anthem; an indication of their dedication and love for their country.

However, the same cannot be said, especially about Ghana’s Black Stars.

Kankam Boadu believes it is time the FA and all stakeholders ensure that players who are called up are made to sing along when the National Anthem is being played before matches.

Bright Kankam Boadu shared this opinion on his social media platforms.

“Every National team’s players sing their anthem so passionately. Watch the Euros and the Copa America and the pride with which the players sing their anthems is one we can inculcate in our players…. Even John Yeboah who is representing Ecuador against Venezuela at the Copa America. Hes singing their anthem. I’m sure most Ghanaians would love to see our Black Stars and other national teams do same….”
