Michael Essien is not broke so stop the negativity

Ex-Black Stars Defender, Sammy Osei Kuffour has expressed worry over Ghanaians and their negativity.

He believes that it is about time the country gets cleansed from negativity.

Sammy Osei Kuffour’s comments come on the back of claims that Michael Essien is broke because two of his properties are being auctioned by a High Court order.

The former footballer said “Bring the news out and say Michael is broke is a shame. It is a shame that we are thinking so negative about our people. We should be positive, Michael is not broke. We are saying that the house that they took from him cost $20 million and the other one is cost $30 million.

Nobody who has a proper conscious will come out and say all kinds of things. You never spoke to the person, you never know exactly what the person is going through. So how can you justify that someone is broke? You have to know if he comes to your house and begs for food. I know the kind of things that Michael has and I will not stand anywhere and say Michael is broke. Michael is filthy rich,” Sammy Osei Kuffour said.
