Vargas has at least a goal in each of the four international tournaments he has played for Chile, including three Copa Americas and a World Cup. He has scored more goals, 42, for the national team than for any other club he has played for. He won two Copas in 2015 and 2016, defeating Lionel Messi’s Argentina in both finals.
