NPP Youth Demands Apology from Mahama for assault on a CSU student

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth have asked the flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama to render an unqualified apology to some students of Christian Service University who were allegedly assaulted by his bodyguards.

A statement from the youth wing of the governing political party said the student’s crime was shouting that “Mahama a we” to wit Mahama would lose the election while the former President was on the campus for the school’s 50th Anniversary.

To the NPP youth, the former President’s wanton desire for power should not endanger the lives of young Ghanaians and students whose parents expect them to be safe on their various campuses.

They used the opportunity to call on the president to give out these bodyguards of his so the law deals with them else they will advise students to go to NDC events prepared for any form of eventualities.

The Statement reminded the former President that the Youth have not forgotten his failure as President and will not vote for him.
