The 1967 movie “Bonnie and Clyde” made American actress Evans famous. Her life extended more than eight decades.
Evans, who was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, had a successful career in the 1960s, starring in a number of TV series, including “The Twilight Zone” and “Gunsmoke.”
But Velma Davis from “Bonnie and Clyde” was probably the most well-known character she played. Evans also experimented with Alfred Hitchcock’s works, making appearances in episodes of “The Alfred Hitchcock Hour” and “Alfred Hitchcock Presents.”
