The Obuasi Police in the Ashanti Region is on a manhunt for one Fati Abubakar who burnt down her ex-fiancé’s shop over some irreconcilable differences
According to a police situational report sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the victim Isaac Owusu Ansah who is a tailor at Abompe New Site a suburb of Obuasi reported that the suspect set his tailoring shop container and one other ablaze at New Estate/Obuasi without any cause.
Police visited the scene with the complainant and found the tailoring shop container and one other containing the complainant’s items including one industrial sewing machine, one 3 in one chair, one office chair, one Samsung 42inches TV, one Philip 42inches TV, one 4 burner stove and oven, one tailoring iron, sewed and unsewn materials, and amplifier and speaker machine, One Techno Pop 6pro mobile phone, two ceiling fans, one wall and standing fans, one stabilizer machine, his NVTI certificate of tailoring and other books, his personal belongings such as clothes one and half mattress and shoes, his reading meter etc inside the shop burnt beyond recognition.
Police indicate that efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect said to be on the run.
